When Mozart is seven years old, Prince Maximilian invites him to perform in Munich’s Nymphenburg Palace. Following the concert, Mozart slips outside and unexpectedly meets a girl living on the grounds. Together they explore the mysterious lakes, waterfalls, and pavillions of the palace gardens. During their stroll through the park, Mozart shares secrets about his life and music.
Hélène Grimaud, born in Aix en Provence in 1969, has performed with many of the world’s major orchestras and celebrated conductors. Her recordings have been critically acclaimed and awarded numerous accolades, including the Cannes Classical Recording of the Year, Diapason d’Or, Grand Prix du Disque, Midem Classical Award, and the Echo Award. Jennifer Larmore has performed at nearly every major opera house, including the Metropolitan Opera, La Scala, and London Covent Garden. Her vast discography of over one hundred CDs has garnered seven Grammy nominations and two awards. In addition, she has given recitals and masterclasses around the world. |
